If your algorithm is like mine, there’s a high chance that you’ve been scrolling through TikTok at night and stumbled across the Norwegian TikTok power couple Julie [@julievisnes] and Camilla Lorentzen [@camillalor]. As well as providing LGBTQI visibility through glimpses into their lives together, the pair raise awareness about important issues.

Julie is well known for rocking ever-changing hair colours and having a signature wink, which took a long time to master as she’s “never been good at winking, but after the first wink video blew up, I just had to practise it until it was flawless”. But there’s a serious side to her content too. She also shares her own struggles with mental health on the app, bringing some much-needed awareness. Meanwhile Camilla constantly throws haters out into the wind by posting videos of her dancing in skimpy clothing and promoting body positivity. It’s no surprise the couple have been a hit and helped many to feel seen.
