BRONZE AVERY – SEA SALT
LA-based queer artist Bronze is focusing on healing with Sea Salt. This big fan of Charli XCX describes his breakthrough tune as “folk-pop emotional disco”. Kylie, you’ve got competition! Written about, “cleansing open emotional wounds, enduring pain, and the rigorous process of healing while finding a new place for someone in your life who’s hurt you,” Bronze pulled in another emerging out artist, Miss Benny, to add vocals. “My music isn’t about being queer or the queer experience because I intended it to be like that, it’s just a natural by-product when you’re telling truthful stories about your life,” he declares. “It’s important to see queer lives and perspectives in music to further prove our validity in society.” While Bronze promises “a wave of new songs” arriving soon, view now online his steamy rendition of ’80s classic Never Gonna Give You Up complete with racy video.
