Nardole joins the Doctor and Bill in the TARDIS!

Following his appearance in last year’s Christmas Special The Husbands of River Song, Matt Lucas is joining Peter Capaldi and Pearl Mackie throughout the new series, reprising his role as the timid Nardole, who was last seen being decapitated by King Hydroflax!

Recording for the 2017 series – the 10th since 2005, and the 36th in total since 1963 – got underway in Cardiff on Monday 20 June, after the Block One readthrough for Episodes 1 and 2 was held in London on Thursday 14 June.

Matt Lucas returns as Nardole.
