Best known for his work with Cliff Richard and The Shadows, Hank Marvin is one of the great pioneers of British rock and roll. Nearly 60 years after his first hit single, Hank is still revered for the unmistakable sound that inspired generations of rock guitarists. But we’re not here to talk about that, or even the fact that Hank is so well-known that his name is now cockney rhyming slang for ‘starving’. Improbable as it may seem, we’re here to talk about Doctor Who.
