The 1967 story The Underwater Menace is the latest to be fully animated by BBC Studios. The fourpart adventure stars Patrick Troughton as the Doctor, Michael Craze as Ben, Anneke Wills as Polly and Frazer Hines as Jamie.

This new release is spread across two discs, including both colour and blackand-white versions of the animation, the surviving original Episodes 2 and 3, reconstructions of Episodes 1 and 4, a previously unreleased 1964 drama starring Patrick Troughton and Joseph Furst, audio commentaries, photo galleries and more.

The Underwater Menace is available from 13 November on DVD (RRP £14.99), Blu-ray (£19.99) and Blu-ray Steelbook (£29.99).
