At the 77th Tony Awards, Merrily We Roll Along, starring Jonathan Groff, won Best Revival of a Musical. Groff won the award for Best Performance By An Actor In A Leading Role In A Musical for the production.

Theatre
Paul McGann is to lead the cast of The River at the Greenwich Theatre, London from 1 to 27 October. McGann plays a man who takes his girlfriend to the remote cabin, but she isn’t the only woman he has taken there, and won’t be the last.
Shifters, starring Tosin Cole is to transfer to the Duke of York’s Theatre, London from 12 August to 12 October, following the sellout run earlier this year at the Bush Theatre.
Frazer Hines and Brian Capron are to tour in The Lion and the Unicorn from 2 to 19 October. This live radio play suggests what might have happened during the one and only time that Churchill and Chamberlain, as well as their wives, met for a private dinner on the eve of war.
