Theatre

Ncuti Gatwa is to play Christopher Marlowe, in Born With Teeth at Wyndham’s Theatre, London from 13 August to 1 November 2025. The play is directed by Daniel Evans, and imagines the relationship between Marlowe and Shakespeare during a time of political danger and artistic rivalry.

Eddie Marsan, Nina Sosanya, Meera Syal and David Tennant join the previously announced actors taking part in An Oak Tree, at the Young Vic, London, which runs from 6 to 24 May.

Kadiff Kirwan is amongst the cast of Intimate Apparel, a play about a woman in New York, who makes lingerie and dreams of opening her own beauty salon, but has a longing to fall in love. The production runs 20 June to 9 August, at the Donmar Warehouse, London.

Television

David Tennant was one of four guests who took part in The Assembly for ITV, which is available on ITVX. The four guests were asked about their life, work and views by a group of neurodivergent and/or learning-disabled interviewers. The Genius Game, hosted by David Tennant is also available on ITVX, having started on 30 April. The series sees contestants utilize their strategic thinking and social intelligence to outsmart their opponents
