You’ve packed everything including the kitchen sink, but have you made sure that your mode of transport is road trip ready? There is nothing worse than a malfunctioning vehicle whilst you are on a long journey. I will cover some tips for how you can minimise the risk of your road trip adventure grinding to premature stop. Before embarking on a journey you should check the following items on your vehicle.

FLUID LEVELS
Always make sure that the vehicle is turned off and cool before you check the fluid levels. If you are unsure how to check the fluid levels in your vehicle refer to your Owners Handbook.
• Check the engine oil level using the dipstick; the dipstick will have two levels indicated ‘MIN’ and ‘MAX’, make sure that the oil level is on MAX.
