Welcome Note

Bertha Benz, wife and business partner of Karl Benz, was the first person ever to take a long distance road trip in an automobile 130 years ago. Bertha drove 106km to visit her mother, fixing numerous mechanical issues on the Benz Patent-Motorwagen along the way, and in doing so she proved to her husband and the world that the automobile had merit.
