It's a crowded field, but Wonder may be the trippiest Mario game ever. A Flower Kingdom vacation starts strangely when arch-nemesis Bowser transforms into a flying castle, and gets weirder from there. Nintendo crams brilliantly designed 2D levels with bizarre ideas and pure charm. As welcoming yet increasingly challenging as ever, Wonder more than lives up to its name.
