Originally available in black and blue variants, the 2007 action figures of the Clockwork Droids feature masks and wigs that can be removed to reveal a translucent head – showing the intricate mechanisms inside. In 2009 they were joined by a purple variant, which was released as part of the Gelth Phantom collect-and-build wave. Additionally, there was a 12” version of this character, produced in blue, boasting fabric clothing and a more detailed head mechanism. Despite being sold as Clockwork Man, unfortunately none of these toys sported any genuine clockwork features at all.
