Bead & Jewellery Magazine  |  Issue 114
Starting with our front cover, Miriam Shimon is the queen of flower-inspired pieces, and her ‘Forest Star’ necklace is exactly what we’re looking for when it comes to a spring piece. Made from multiple components and a supple necklace, this piece will keep you engaged for hours. Sue Neel is back with us, and her Faux Cellini necklace is ideal for anyone that wants to try an alternative to a Cellini spiral. Emma Kneale’s delightful daffodil earrings are the perfect pair of spring earrings in yellow and white, and Becs Dean-Skinner has made a wonderful pendant using multiple bezels. If you’re looking for something a bit more boho, Hannah Walker’s chandelier earrings will be something you reach for throughout spring and summer. We also have a couple of new designers with us for this issue. First up is Jandelys Jimenez with her sparkly and opulent necklace that makes me think of sunshine and happiness. Just looking at this piece gives me joy, so imagine what wearing it will be like! Our second new designer is the lovely Jan Dwyer, and she opens the floor for the other mediums in this issue. Her ‘Elegance Earrings’ are ideal for anyone wanting a quick but stunning wire project. Tracey Spurgin is giving us all the seaside feels with her project, which is a mix of PMC and dichotic glass, and last but not least is Alison Tarry’s ‘Amber Scroll Ring’. This ring is excellent if you’re looking to practice your wire weaving.
