Making Cards & Papercraft  |  September 2011
I’m simply loving the elegant feel of Nancy Watt’s free gifts this month. The vintage look is as popular as ever and Nancy has really
captured the look with the classic cameo toppers. The toppers are complimented with one of my favourite looks – baroque!
The cream, cool grey and dusty pink colour tones flatter the theme perfectly.
Make sure you check out this month’s Guest Designer – the papers are supplied by My Craft Studio! The beautiful artwork is taken from the Little Miracles CD ROM by My Craft Studio, designed especially for Making Cards readers. If you really like these papers, you’re in luck! My Craft Studio is offering every Making Cards reader a free copy of the CD, for more information see inside the front cover of this issue.
You’ll also find this edition packed full of ideas to get your creative
juices flowing; Dee Paramour’s telescope design is fantastic!
Use the templates provided to help create this eye-catching design. Wendy Martin uses a selection of punches to create some fabulous bright cards on page 20 and not to forget Deborah Willis’ beautiful stamped designs on page 36 – they’ll transport you to the tranquil Italian countryside!
I hope there is a technique, theme or colourway so suit a variety of tastes this month. Make sure you keep us updated with feedback and what crafty things you’ve been getting up to on our Facebook page or via Twitter.
