TEAM MOTO-BREAKERS
NO LIMITS 600S
If you can’t beat ’em, ram ’em. Or something like that. To be fair, I was as hell-bent on taking the lead in the No Limits Racing Pirelli 600 Cup, as Dan Parker was on keeping it. We touched on the last lap and down I went, gracelessly, on the run up to the hairpin at Oulton Park. It wasn’t the outcome I was hoping for, but scrapping with Dan in the laps leading up to this moment was pretty mega. He’s a hard rider, and a fast one, too. It was inevitable there was going to be some paint scraping at some point, only I didn’t expect it to come this early in the season. I watched the rest of the rammed grid’s riders blitz past me on their way to the chequered flag, gutted about the huge points haul that had just slipped away. Should I have eased off and settled for second? Probably, but I was lapping a second a lap quicker than anyone else out there and knew I had the pace to win. Balls!
