How many miles have you managed in a day? We’ve done 800 or so riding back from France, and it’s pretty tough. Triumph’s managed a world record though, with its off-road ambassador Ivan Cervantes topping 2493 miles on a Tiger 1200 Explorer GT. He cheated a little by doing it on the Nardo high-speed ring rather than the Autoroute from Nice to Calais, but fair play – 18 fuel stops, one tyre change, and zero sleep got him a Guinness World Record. Top marks.
