VOW FOR GIRLS
Count to 3… somewhere a child has just become a bride. This is wrong and it must end, says VOW for Girls.

When I think of the idea of a child becoming a bride, I feel my blood boil, a guttural rage that there’s something fundamentally corrupted in our world if the practice of child marriage is still so prevalent today. Going on in plain sight, not hidden, not protested, just the norm. Surely not in our generation? The idea that young girls have to marry (often to an older adult male) is the ultimate horror. It’s a perversion of the precious innocence and joy of childhood.
