WORDS BY JAMES KONIK
» [Amiga] Wizkid is incredible to look at, but it’s not as confusing as it looks to play.
» [Amiga] The partially stocked shop gives you a hint of more to come in the final game.
THIS MONTH IN MAY 1992
In 1992, the Amiga was still in its prime in the UK. The A600 was just out and the SNES had just joined the Mega Drive in challenging the Amiga’s dominance. That May, Amiga Power readers were in for a treat too. The magazine was a year old, and it marked the occasion with a list of the Amiga’s top 100 games. There were also two coverdisks including demos of some of the greatest Amiga games of all time. The first disk, from Sensible Software, featured demos of Wizkid and the mighty Sensible Soccer, while the second featured Pinball Dreams. And that was far from all.
