With Cardiffbeing the home to the female parkrun world record, it’s not surprising that it wins the Best Parkrun category. Cardiffathlete Charlotte Arter has made this parkrun popular aft er clocking 15 minutes 49 seconds on the course that runs along the River Taff. If we thought running a 5K at Cardiffcould get us near that time, it would be at the top of our parkrun tourism list, too! Offering both a flat and fast course, and a post-run coffee get-together, Cardiffappeals to all runners, as it has the friendliness that we all expect from parkrun, but with a chance of a PB, for those more competitive runners. We can’t wait to have a crack at it!
