Native Instruments Noire
>A collaboration between Galaxy Instruments, Native Instruments and Nils Frahm, Noire is a recreation of Nils’ nine-foot Yamaha CFX concert grand piano. This Kontakt instrument comes both as unfelted or the felted version more in keeping with Nils’ tastes – the piano was chosen by Frahm, and exacting modifications were made to it.
Except for the high-quality rendering of Nils’ CFX sound, one of the most special things about Noire is its Particles Engine. This tab generates aleatoric phrases and rhythms that match your playing, adding extra layers to the sound, which add another dimension, with brushed and felted tones accompanying even the ‘Pure’ Noire patch.
