Limiter is just one of these smart mastering plugins, but with some other features that set this apart from other developers’ AI offerings. In this short tutorial, we’ll take a look at Mastering the Mix’s Limiter plugin and see how it can help to achieve the desired loudness, without sacrificing clarity. LIMITING FOR EVERY SCENARIO
While mastering has historically been seen as a perplexing task, the various loudness standards that are now required by each music streaming platform or marketplace have only added confusion to the process. To tackle this, Limiter comes with a selection of loudness standards, or ‘Presets’ designed to aid you in getting your track to the correct loudness level for every popular music platform. Limiter also lets you emphasise transients using the PCH slider, dial in some rich harmonic distortion with the NRG slider, and audition exactly what the plugin is doing using the Delta Mode button. This plugin can do much more than just limiting, then.
