• Any medication that has passed its expiry date should be properly disposed of at a pharmacy, with the rest organised by date, so what’s older gets used up first. Types of medicine should be grouped together and stacked with the names on show so they can easily be found. Week-day pill dispensers are handy for those on regular medication.
• Check any opened makeup hasn’t passed the period-after-opening date – indicated by an image of an open pot with a number inside. It shows how many months it can be used for after opening. Once past this point, makeup could deteriorate and lead to irritations and infections. Mark when you open your makeup to stay on top of this.
