‘We will be a beacon for pantos around the country and for theatre in general’
Beverley – on sparkling form in our winter wonderland – makes her London Palladium pantomime debut as the Fairy Godmother this month, part of a busy festive season ahead, including releasing her first Christmas single A Christmas Wish. She says she’s always loved a panto, especially the singing – “the major attraction for me” – but laughs that it’s the “really juicy jokes” that make them memorable as an adult

Beverley Knight has one wish this Christmas. “It would be to stand on a stage in a wonderful venue, with my band, no social distancing, no anything, and just all of us be able to celebrate and enjoy music together. That would be my wish, no two ways about it,” Beverley tells hello! as we meet up for our stunning photoshoot.
