Unlike most public transport users Boji has four legs – and hasn’t let the pandemic put him off travelling. The Istanbul street dog won the hearts of the world after being seen on daily excursions across the Turkish city.
The canine commuter can regularly be seen exploring by bus (left) and his favourite, the city’s trams (below left). He’s also happy to catch a ferry (above), even reaching the Princes’ Islands, a couple of miles off the coast.
Since being discovered about two months ago, Boji has become an internet sensation – and having caught the eye of city officials, he is now fitted with a microchip to keep a close watch on his condition and journeys – typically up to 20 miles a day.
