With one hand on her phone and the other on a bottle, feeding four-month-old Wolfie, mum of two Binky Felstead has mastered the art of parental multitasking. For the 31-yearold entrepreneur and former Made in Chelsea star, who married businessman Max Fredrik Darnton in July, it’s important to show the ups and the downs: “We all have our tough days and I wouldn’t like anyone to think: ‘She’s got it all sorted all the time.’” Here, Binky, who also has four-year-old daughter India, shares her hard-won wisdom on birth and beyond…
Binky, what kind of advice would you give to new mums?
“Try not to listen to too many different opinions, go with your gut, don’t put pressure on yourself and know that you’re going to feel yourself again. You can put way too much pressure on yourself and try to be the perfect parent, when there’s no such thing. It’s tough the first few weeks, but it gets easier. When they start giggling and smiling, it’s worth all the sleepless nights and sore nipples.”
