She rose to fame as a member of worldfamous band the Spice Girls, but it is for her services to victims of domestic violence that singer Melanie Brown has received an MBE in the New Year Honours list.
Speaking of her joy exclusively to HELLO!, she says: “This is such an incredible honour and something I never expected to happen to me. To be honoured as Melanie Brown from Leeds as opposed to Melanie Brown Spice Girl is a huge thing for me.
