‘Post-pandemic, everything needs to be loud and bright; we all need to shake our tail feathers’
With her tousled blonde hair, moody expressions and punchy vocals, Kim Wilde was one of the pop sensations of the 1980s. Now, four decades, multiple music awards and 30 million record sales later, she’s gearing up to belt out songs such as her debut chart-topper, Kids in America, on her Greatest Hits Tour.
Although the pout and attitude have softened, there’s still a reassuring touch of the rebellious rock chick about Kim as she prepares to strut into the spotlight once more.
