Overhauling her career in her 50s didn’t faze Andrea McLean.“I’ve been married three times, had a breakdown – pretty much everything that can be thrown at me,” the award-winning presenter tells us.“But my biggest life lesson is: sod what everyone thinks.”
After more than 25 years on TV, the former Loose Women star stepped away from the small screen in 2020 to join forces with husband Nick Feeney and expand her personal growth platform This Girl Is On Fire.
What started as a blog four years ago to help women “step into your own light” has grown into a mindset app developed to build confidence and help users create positive habits so they can get more from their day and sleep better at night.
As well as daily tips, step-by-step guides, meditations and personal development challenges, the app offers masterclasses and talks from people such as perfumer Jo Malone and performance mindset coach Dean Leak.
In addition, subscribers will get early access to Andrea’s new podcast, in which she chats with inspirational women including The Diana Award founder Tessy Ojo and Netflix star and US cheerleading coach Monica Aldama.
