WELLBEING
ON THE RISE
After The Great British Bake Off, Sandro Farmhouse tells us how he’s cooking up a way to help neurodivergent children
“A happy and healthy lifestyle starts with accepting who you are,” says Sandro
His skills in the kitchen saw Sandro Farmhouse not only reach the final of last year’s The Great British Bake Off, but win the hearts of viewers, too.
Now the 30-year-old, Angolanborn baker is cooking up something new after becoming an ambassador for the National Autistic Society. It follows the success of his Baking on the Spectrum, an online programme for neurodivergent children and their families that he launched during lockdown.
“I’m passionate about supporting this community as much as possible,” Sandro, a former nanny with more than ten years’ experience working with autistic children, tells hello!.
