CHARLOTTE HAWKINS
The presenter on riding to the rescue of animals everywhere this Bonfire Night – and on sharing her love of classical music with her daughter

‘I’ve gone back to the piano and my daughter is learning too. It’s lovely that we can do it together’
As an animal-lover, Charlotte Hawkins knows only too well the stress some pets can feel as Bonfire Night approaches. Over the years, the Good Morning Britain and Classic FM presenter spent many November evenings comforting her beloved rescue dog Bailey as the sound of fireworks left her shaking.
Although Bailey sadly died in August, Charlotte will be helping other families up and down the country – and their pets – survive the festivities this weekend by playing them some of her favourite music when Classic FM’s Pet Classics returns for its sixth year.
