HOW DREW FOUND HERSELF AT 50
Hollywood star Drew Barrymore has been in the public eye since she was seven. Now, she explains how becoming a mother has transformed her once troubled life
Drew Barrymore has packed a lot into her first 50 years. She became famous overnight when she was just seven, her star-making role in E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial kickstarting an eventful career that included battles with substance addiction and a stint in rehab at the shocking age of 13, before she turned it all around to become one of Hollywood’s most popular actresses.
Now a successful chat-show host who is raising her two daughters as a single mother, Drew seems happy, settled and content. And as she marks a milestone birthday this week, she is delighted to be celebrating the big 5-0.
