POWER DRESSING IN PARIS
Big names on and off the catwalk set the style bar sky-high in a high-octane week celebrating autumn/winter 2025-26 in the French fashion capital
Models look the business in bold, broad shoulders, big statement bows and slim pencil skirts – notably, not a single pair of trousers – on the Saint Laurent catwalk, in a powerful show that closed a busy week
Zoe Saldaña, fresh from her Best Supporting Actress Oscar win, at Saint Laurent. Anthony Vaccarello, whose label’s production house backed the multi-nominated Emilia Pérez, moved his show from its usual slot at the beginning of the week to the end, to avoid a clash with the awards
Charli XCX at Saint Laurent. Below: Supermodels Carla Bruni, Linda Evangelista and Amber Valletta. Left: Kate Moss and daughter Lila Moss also add model chic to the Saint Laurent front row
Chanel’s chic catwalk at the Grand Palais, where famous fans included (opposite, clockwise from bottom left) supermodel Naomi Campbell, actresses Jessica Alba and Dakota Fanning and musician Raye, all in the house’s key seasonal looks
As fashionable front rows go, the Paris shows are always seriously fabulous. And last week’s stylish offerings in the city of light saw A-list supermodels, musicians and actresses mingle with the crème de la crème of French society at a truly spectacular series of shows.
