Serpent’s snack

It’s lunchtime for this golden tree snake (Chrysopelea ornata), and a blue crested lizard (Calotes mystaceus) is on the menu. These venomous snakes are found slithering through the forests of Thailand. To move through the forest canopy, tree snakes can flatten their bodies to glide from branches in search of food. Common snacks are treedwelling lizards, rodents, small birds and bats.
