Rings around Uranus

The James Webb Space Telescope peered through the Solar System and snapped this shot of the ice giant Uranus from more than 1.6 billion miles away. Using its Near Infrared Camera, the telescope captured the planet Uranus along with six of its 27 moons – the small blue dots. The image also shows 11 of Uranus’ 13 rings, some of which are so bright that they blend together, in the clearest detail to date.
