Use persistent highlights on the web with Safari
Highlight important parts of web pages in Safari and make the highlights permanent on your Mac
Did you know that you can highlight parts of a web page in Safari, such as important sentences or paragraphs and make those highlights permanent? Every time you visit that web page, you will see the parts that you highlighted. It is a handy feature when you are researching topics on the web and want to highlight, remember, and make notes.
This is a feature of Monterey and it is not available in older versions of macOS, so make sure you are up to date. It makes use of the Quick Note feature of the Notes app and Safari and Notes work together to help you highlight and remember information you find on the web.
