• FURNITURE. As some of the biggest pieces in any room, furniture also largely influences the atmosphere. For masculine spaces, choose clean-lined desks, cabinets and sofas to create a more structured design while still offering comfortable seating and storage. Color comes into play with furniture as well. Choose wood tones and dark—or even black—paints or stains.
