Ardennes weather led to by far the shortest grand prix in history
Anger after F1’s sodden farce
Formula 1 bosses have pledged to evaluate their weather delay rules after the Belgian Grand Prix was declared official with half-points awarded despite just two laps behind the safety car having been completed, due to continual heavy rainfall. He was classified third after title rival Max Verstappen and George Russell, the Williams man’s first F1 podium.
