Welcome to our Spring 2022 issue of Autostrada,
During this time of the year we are usually gearing up for our large Autostrada display at the Canadian International Auto Show. Regretfully the show has been cancelled this year due to the pandemic, but as the days start to get longer and the temperatures warm up we are excited for “car season” to finally arrive back in Toronto.
Our cover feature for this issue is the team behind the revival of Radford coachbuilder, 2009 Formula One world champion Jenson Button and television presenter Ant Anstead. The pair has recently launched the coach built Lotus Type 62-2 with the full blessing and support of the Lotus factory, only 62 vehicles will be produced based off the Lotus Evora chassis. An overwhelming thank you to our talented photographer and writer Alex Lawrence for all his hard work putting this feature together as well as the Radford team for all their assistance.
We recently had the opportunity to meet up with Ant Anstead as well as several of our friends at the Barrett-Jackson Collector Car Auction in Scottsdale, Arizona. This was the 50th anniversary of this spectacular event and we have been fortunate to feature both Craig and Carolyn Jackson on previous covers of the magazine. A big thank you to the Barrett-Jackson team for their hospitality during the event as always, we truly appreciate it.
