For the final issue of BM in 2021, the theme of the picture is 'eyes'.
The eyes of mortal men soon begin to deteriorate, and even when we can see an object clearly, there are things about it that we may not perceive.
The Bible has much to say about sight and blindness, particularly in relation to spiritual things. An unregenerate person can see the words in the Scriptures, and perhaps read them fluently. Because of their spiritual condition, however, the meaning of those words is lost upon them. The believer is greatly blessed to be indwelt by the Holy Spirit, who illuminates the Word of God and interprets its meaning.
As this month's Magazine draws your attention to eyes, we trust you will be challenged and encouraged by the knowledge that "the eyes of the Lord" see and register all things.
