Disable a stuck Caps Lock using Shift
If your Caps Lock key is stuck into typing capital letters, you can disable it by pressing Shift.
In Windows 10, right-click the Start menu then select ‘Time & Language’ followed by Language. Next, scroll down and select ‘Spelling, typing, & keyboard settings’ followed by ‘Advanced keyboard settings’. Now click ‘Language bar options’ to open the ‘Text Services and Input Languages’ box, then click the Advanced Key Settings tab and select ‘Press the SHIFT key’. Click OK to confirm.
