The latest in D16’s SilverLine Collection of plugin effects is a hybrid-engine reverb that generates early reflections using the developer’s proprietary Virtual Space Reverb modelling algorithm, and late reflections in a dynamic delay network. Spacerek’s dozens of emulated spaces include a variety of rooms, chambers, halls, towers, churches and tunnels, with multiple stereo mic and speaker configurations for each space adding up to 114 reverb models in total. The shaping options include Low Cut filter and Tilt EQ modules, and mid-side balancing. Said to enable the creation of “amazingly authentic real-world room emulations without bogging you down in complex parameters”, and touted as a “consummate all-rounder”, it’s out now, priced £69.
