“You can’t make Doctor Who in the same way it was made 15 years ago, ten years ago or even five years ago,” says Chris Chibnall. Chris is a self-confessed Doctor Who fan, but he’s more interested in talking about the future than joining the dots between his new episodes and the show’s heritage. “Television is changing so extraordinarily, and irrevocably,” he says. “The landscape we make Doctor Who in, the context we make Doctor Who in, has more effect on Doctor Who than the history of Doctor Who.”
