Netflix’s – let’s be kind – unconventional approach to promoting its game catalogue may mean this mobile-only sequel to 2014’s The Great War is already available. The first of three titles released in collaboration with Ubisoft, it’s been created by several of the original development team, who aren’t the only returnees; nurse Anna and canine ally Walt join a new central foursome. These include James and Freddy – siblings who belong to the Harlem Hellfighters, the conflict’s first African-American infantry unit – plus British pilot George and German diver Ernst in a story with, we hope, fewer incongruous rhythm-action interludes.
