An effective way to make titles and captions look more eye-catching is to create animated three-dimensional letters that look like they are part of a clip’s location. We’ll demonstrate how to alter the default shape of basic 3D letters to give the text more impact and add weathered metallic textures that make it belong in the scene. We’ll also demonstrate how to light the text so that it matches the light source in the location. Finally, we’ll finish off by adding a mask that helps blend the text with the river in our supplied background clip.
