Stranded In The Mystery Zone
TOMBSTONE, 1991
FRED AND Toody Cole were already in their early forties when, in 1987, they formed visceral garage-punk-blues trio Dead Moon. Twenty years earlier, the couple were shacked up in Laurel Canyon nursing their first daughter, while Fred’s band, The Lollipop Shoppe (né The Weeds), struggled to make it on the LA club scene.
