LOCHABER Chamber of Commerce represents businesses throughout the area with a focus on encouraging economic growth, job creation and promoting Lochaber as a great place to live, work, study and visit.
We were delighted to host a special members’ event last week about Scottish and Southern Energy’s (SSE) proposed Coire Glas hydro electricity scheme. Key members of the SSE project team presented the plans and took questions from the audience.
The event was suggested by a chamber member who saw the potential interest from key businesses in the proposed developments in the Great Glen. There certainly was a great deal of interest and the range of questions and views from members reflected the diverse range of businesses that make up Lochaber Chamber of Commerce.
