Yoga teacher Stephen Marks is hosting a Men’s Urban Day Retreat in London this month where you can recharge your batteries on the mat and pick up some essential lifestyle tips on things like healthy eating, mindful drinking and sleep.
The former lawyer (and occasional OM writer) is well qualified to know about handling stress. “I worked as a City lawyer for 20 years prior to taking the plunge recently to teach full time,” he tells OM. “I found practicing yoga, meditation and relaxation techniques hugely helpful over the years whilst leading a busy life – and I want to share what I know works.”
