The Scottish Gallery is opening Nature Assembled this month - a solo exhibition of works by artist Angie Lewin. Comprising over 40 original paintings featuring vases bursting with dahlias to dishes of shoreline treasures, each work is a homage to the natural world seen through Angie’s astute compositional eye. ‘I’ve worked from my studios both in north-east Scotland and Edinburgh, collecting and curating elements from the local countryside and my city garden,’ says Angie of her still lifes. From 30 September - 24 October, or view online at scottish-gallery.co.uk.
