BRIAN IRELAND, QUEENSLAND, AUSTRALIA SAYS… I have been looking to improve my landscape photos, and one approach I have tried is to feature a clear main subject. After a lot of recent rain, nearby Oakey Creek reached a minor flood level and burst its banks, enabling me to be take this shot of the Eucalyptus tree in Arthur Shooter Park reflected in the floodwater. I put my EOS 700D on a Velbon tripod, and used a polarizing filter to enhance both the sky and reflection in the creek water. Edits were minor adjustments to exposure and highlights with Adobe Lightroom.
