W hile the core camera functions are collected under the familiar red, blue and yellow tabs, there are a couple of additional coloured menu tabs available on Canon’s more advanced bodies: orange and magenta.
These are chiefly used to house the extensive control configurations and parameter adjustments that would make the other menus too unwieldy to get through. So, while the autofocus options of entrylevel cameras are found in their red Shooting menus, there’s a dedicated magenta AF section for EOS bodies with more enhanced and complex focusing setups. These cameras also have a set of orange Custom Functions tabs, rather the customization options being part of the yellow Set-up menu.
