At this time of year, it can feel like we exist in a kind of liminal space, where both the past and future are cradled in the present. We haven’t quite kissed the old year goodbye, nor have we fully welcomed in the New Year. This creates fertile conditions for both ref lection and aspiration, so it makes sense that many of us take stock and set goals. I am not one for New Year’s resolutions, however.
